About the VIFLY Drone Strobe Light
The VIFLY strobe is a 6g rechargeable anti-collision light visible from over three miles, with white, red and green modes and a choice of flash patterns. Velcro or a rubber ring mounts it to any airframe — including sub-250g drones, where six grams doesn't threaten the weight class on most models (check your margins on a 248g drone with the standard battery).
Its everyday value in the UK is simpler than night flying: keeping visual line of sight, which the law requires. Against a grey sky or busy backdrop, a small grey drone vanishes surprisingly close in; a strobing light stays findable at distances where the airframe itself is a dot. The built-in battery runs 1–7 hours depending on mode and tops up over USB. One of those accessories that seems optional until the first time it saves you a long, anxious search of the sky.
