Community guidelines
PitchYaw works because pilots share honestly — spots, shots, and straight verdicts on gear. These guidelines keep it useful and safe. By posting content here you agree to them; our moderators remove content that doesn't comply and may suspend repeat offenders.
Fly legal, post legal
Don't post content that shows or encourages illegal flying: inside airport Flight Restriction Zones, above 120m, over crowds, or beyond line of sight without authorisation. If a photo was taken somewhere restricted, we'll remove it — spectacular doesn't excuse unlawful. When submitting spots, only suggest places that can be flown under the Drone Code, and be accurate about access and landowner permission.
Respect people and privacy
No shots that identify people in private settings without their consent — back gardens, windows, private events. Blur or crop where in doubt. No harassment, hate, or personal attacks in captions, verdicts or ratings. Disagree about drones, not about people.
Keep it honest
Rate gear you've actually flown. No spam, affiliate links, or undisclosed promotion in community content — if you're connected to a brand, say so. One account per person.
Younger members
You must be 13 or over to create an account. Under-18s: the CAA requires an adult to hold the Operator ID for your drone, and we recommend a parent or guardian helps supervise your account. We don't allow content that identifies children, and our moderators apply extra caution to anything involving young people. Accounts found to belong to under-13s will be removed (with data deleted).
Reporting
Every photo, spot and rating has a ⚑ Report button. Reports go straight to our moderation team; reporters stay anonymous to the person reported. If something needs urgent attention, use the report details field to tell us why.
