About the HoverAir X1 Pro

The X1 Pro is not really a drone you fly — it is a camera crew that fits in a jacket pocket. Unfold it, pick a shot mode, and it launches from your palm to orbit, follow or lead while you run, ride or ski, tracking reliably at speeds up to 26mph. The 1/1.3-inch sensor shoots crisp 4K/60, and the folding cage design means it is safe to grab out of the air.

Its limits are the flipside of its design: modest wind resistance, roughly 16-minute batteries and no meaningful manual flying or range. Judge it against an action camera plus a camera operator, not against a Mini — on that comparison it is superb.
