About the DJI Neo 2
The Neo 2 fixes almost everything we flagged on the original Neo. It keeps the palm take-off and landing, the enclosed propellers and the follow-me brains, then adds omnidirectional obstacle sensing, gesture control, 4K at 60fps (with a 100fps slow-motion mode) and noticeably steadier behaviour in wind.
It remains a flying camera first and a pilot's drone second — flights are short at around 19 minutes and the controller is still optional. But as a vlogging companion or a first drone for someone nervous about crashing, it is now the class leader rather than the charming compromise.
