About the DJI Mini 4 Pro
The Mini 4 Pro is the point where "beginner drone" stops being the right label. It keeps the sub-250g weight that makes UK flying simple, then adds the features DJI used to reserve for its bigger aircraft: omnidirectional obstacle sensing, ActiveTrack 360° subject tracking, true vertical shooting and 4K/60 HDR video from the same excellent 1/1.3-inch sensor as the Mini 3.
In practice it is the safest-flying small drone you can buy — it sees obstacles in every direction and routes around them — and the O4 transmission keeps a crisp feed far beyond legal line of sight. If the budget stretches this far, it is the sub-250g drone that will not need upgrading.
