About the Autel EVO Lite+
The EVO Lite+ is the drone for photographers who want a 1-inch sensor without joining the DJI ecosystem. Its party trick is a genuinely adjustable f/2.8–f/11 aperture — rare at any price — which means proper exposure control for long evenings and bright days without stacking ND filters. Video tops out at 6K/30, stills are 20MP, and flights run to a solid 40 minutes.
Obstacle avoidance is three-way rather than omnidirectional, and Autel's app and accessory ecosystem are thinner than DJI's. But the orange airframe has a loyal following for a reason: excellent image quality, no geofencing lockouts, and a manufacturer that courts pilots DJI frustrates.
