About the Potensic Atom 2
The Atom 2 was the first drone to make "which DJI Mini?" a real question. It matches the Mini formula — sub-250g, 3-axis gimbal, 30-plus-minute batteries — then adds what DJI reserves for pricier models: 48MP stills, 4K/30 HDR video and AI subject tracking, all for less than a Mini 3.
Daylight footage is very good and HDR pulls sky detail the Mini 4K clips; the caveats are occasionally finicky auto-exposure and a software ecosystem that trails DJI in polish, tutorials and resale value. Shoot with fixed exposure and the gap narrows a lot. At its frequent ~£219 discount price it is the best-value beginner drone in the UK — and its successor, the Atom 3, pushes the formula further still.
