Potensic's original 2230mAh replacement battery gives the Atom 2 up to 32 minutes per charge — realistically mid-20s in typical UK breeze — and keeps the drone under the 249g threshold that makes it such an attractive DJI alternative. It uses the same intelligent management as the bundled pack: charge-level LEDs, over-current and temperature protection, and automatic storage discharge for battery health.

The Atom 2's Fly More kit ships with a parallel charging hub, so extra batteries slot straight into an existing rotation. Two spares is the sweet spot for a session of filming; the packs are small enough that carrying three adds barely anything to the bag. As always with flight batteries, store them around half charge and carry them in a LiPo-safe pouch rather than loose.
