About the Potensic CPL Filter for Atom 2
Potensic's official circular polarising filter for the Atom 2's F1.8 camera. A CPL does what no amount of editing can properly fake: it physically cuts polarised glare, so the sea stops being a sheet of white reflection, rivers reveal the riverbed, wet roads lose their shine, and skies deepen from washed-out to saturated blue.
You orient the polariser's effect before takeoff by rotating the filter, so it suits planned shots — coastal runs, lake circuits, woodland streams — more than run-and-gun flying where the sun angle keeps changing. It's waterproof-coated, weighted for the gimbal, and twists onto the camera in seconds. Paired with the VND for exposure, the two filters cover essentially every image-quality situation the Atom 2 will meet.
