About the Intelligent Flight Battery Plus 3850mAh (Mini 3 Series)
The Intelligent Flight Battery Plus is the Mini 3's range extender: 3850mAh against the standard pack's 2453mAh, taking the quoted flight time from 38 to 51 minutes. In real conditions that translates to a genuine 35–40 minutes of usable air time — enough to fly to a subject, work multiple angles and come home without battery anxiety.
The important caveat for UK pilots: the Plus battery pushes the Mini 3 over 250g, which moves it out of the sub-250g regulatory sweet spot. Over 250g you need to keep 50m from uninvolved people and you lose the A1 'over people' allowance, so this is a battery for open-country and coastal flying rather than parks and villages. Many owners carry both types — standard packs for populated areas, the Plus for long-range landscape days. It charges in the same Two-Way Charging Hub.
