The official Intelligent Flight Battery for the Neo delivers around 18 minutes per charge — and because the Neo is a fly-from-the-palm, always-in-the-action drone, those minutes disappear faster than on a camera platform you park in a hover. Spare batteries matter more here than on almost any other DJI model.
Each 1435mAh pack weighs 45g and clips into the underside of the airframe in seconds, with DJI's usual battery management keeping cells balanced and storage-discharged when idle. The realistic session maths: one battery is a taster, two is a session, three (charging in rotation through the hub) keeps the Neo flying essentially continuously while you review clips. If you use the Neo for follow-me runs or FPV with the goggles, budget for at least one spare from day one.
