DJI's official 360° propeller guard fully encloses the props of the Mini 2/SE airframe — which the Mini 4K shares — in a lightweight cage, so the drone can brush a wall, branch or curious hand without blade contact. This is the accessory that makes indoor flying genuinely viable: down hallways, around living rooms, through barns and warehouses where GPS drops out and small corrections become collisions.

Outdoors it earns its keep flying near hedgerows and woodland where a clipped twig would otherwise end the session. The trade-offs are real but manageable: the cage adds drag and weight, cutting flight time to roughly 18 minutes, and it increases wind catch, so it's a calm-day accessory. Fitting is tool-free clips. If you fly around people, pets or property — or you're teaching someone — the guard pays for itself the first time it touches something.
